People used to talk about Barack Obama going on an “apology tour” to apologize for the supposed historical sins of the United States all around the world.
Well, the alleged “Pope” is now apologizing for the Crusades, and labeling them “blasphemy.”
Pope Francis walked down a narrow alleyway in the holy city of Najav to hold a historic meeting with Iraq’s top Shi’ite cleric and visited the birthplace of the Prophet Abraham on Saturday to condemn violence in the name of God as “the greatest blasphemy”.
The inter-religious events, one in a dusty, built-up city and the other on a desert plain 200 km (125 miles) away, reinforced the main theme of the pope’s risky trip to Iraq – that the country has suffered far too much, and the killing has often been sectarian.
“From this place, where faith was born, from the land of our father Abraham, let us affirm that God is merciful and that the greatest blasphemy is to profane his name by hating our brothers and sisters,” Francis said at the ancient site of Ur where Abraham was born.
With the desert wind blowing his white cassock, Francis, sitting with Muslim, Christian and Yazidi leaders, spoke within sight of the archaeological dig of the 4,000 year-old city that comprises a pyramid-style Ziggurat, a residential complex, temples and palaces.
We still don’t know that this is the site Abraham was born at. After all, these desert myths, like all societies, cultures and peoples, have a beginning story. So, this being the birth site of Abraham is just some theory of Israeli academics, endorsed by evangelical kooks, as usual.
But they are definitely in the process of preserving and restoring something very old.
The Pope speaking before that ziggurat, which is a temple to the Babylonian Moon god Nanna (in Akkadian, Sin), is ominous beyond belief, if you believe in any of the religious mythologies of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Perhaps you do and if you do, then you are demonstrating that your mind has been Jəwed into believing that these great civilizations were “evil”, “sinful” and didn’t find favor in the eyes of a Jewish god. Thereby, legitimizing Jëwish “chosenness” and “specialness”.
Hey don’t worry. You don’t have to listen to me. Their god is your god too, but he has chosen them.
The event at Ur was supposed to be one of these “meeting of three faiths” events I’ve told you they’re going to start doing in the Middle East as they ramp up this weird agenda.
But I guess the Jêws had a hard time attending.
Although Abraham is considered the father of Christians, Muslims and Jews, no Jewish representative was present at the inter-religious event in Ur.
In 1947, a year before Israel’s birth, Iraq’s Jewish community numbered around 150,000. Now their numbers are in single figures.
A local Church official said Jews were contacted and invited but the situation for them was “complicated” particularly as they have no structured community. However, in similar past events in predominantly Muslim countries, a senior foreign Jewish figure has attended.
“Hostility, extremism and violence are not born of a religious heart: they are betrayals of religion,” the pope said at Ur. “We believers cannot be silent when terrorism abuses religion; indeed, we are called unambiguously to dispel all misunderstandings,” he said.
Islamic State militants, who tried to establish a caliphate covering several countries, ravaged northern Iraq from 2014-2017, killing Christians as well as Muslims who opposed the insurgents.
Iraq’s Christian community, one of the oldest in the world, has been particularly devastated, falling to about 300,000 from about 1.5 million before the U.S. invasion and the brutal Islamist militant violence that followed.
However, it must be recalled that the war was to bring them democracy. And the slaughter of 1.2 million Christians is a small price to pay for the right to vote or whatever.
You’re going to see more and more events like this, where leaders from “three Abrahamic faiths” come together to say that all religions are the same, which they are. They are all mythical and irrational. Just one more than the other.
The point of this is to tie all of the faiths to these ancient occult sites, as they move toward establishing a new kind of religion, which is probably going to be linked to fake space aliens somehow. Try to remember any alien movie or TV series, like Independence Day or V The Mini Series, where all the world religions and religious leaders all get really busy. They cut scene to Muslims in Mecca praying extra hard, Jəws humping the Wailing Wall more earnestly, and in the Vatican, some cardinal or bishop looks up with frightening look on his face after reading an scientific scroll, predicting the advent of alien lifeforms. It is exactly what’s being played out today.
Like everything we talk about here: if it sounds crazy, that’s because it is.
