The Shaolin bar owner has gotten arrested again.
NEW YORK – The general manager of Mac’s Public House, the Staten Island bar that declared itself an autonomous zone, was arrested for a second time Saturday night after dragging a sheriff’s deputy with his car, according to police.
Deputies were staking out the pub when they say they observed several patrons entering through the back door, where food and beverages were being served to unmasked patrons.
After closing up the bar after midnight, police say the 34-year-old, Daniel Presti, resisted arrest as deputies attempted to issue him another summons for violating coronavirus orders by running a modern-day speakeasy out of the bar.
That’s when Presti fled on foot up Lincoln Avenue toward his car.
Despite orders to stop, Presti entered his vehicle and put it into gear, striking one officer and throwing him onto the hood of the car.
Presti continued driving down South Railroad Avenue for approximately 100 yards until responding officers were able to stop him, police say.
The deputy struck was treated and released from Staten Island University Hospital.
Presti was seen being escorted out of the precinct and into a sheriff’s car shortly before 1 p.m.
Presti’s lawyer disputed the police version of the events.
“We are currently interviewing eyewitnesses who contradict the Sheriff’s version of the events. We also possess video footage of the incident. I expect Danny to be arraigned this morning.” Presti’s lawyer, Mark Fonte, said. “We anticipated the bumbling Sherrifs to pull a stunt like this so we had Danny under surveillance the whole time. More details to follow.”
The bar was closed Tuesday after Presti was arrested for blatantly violating orders put in place to curb the rising number of coronavirus cases on Staten Island.
What grinds my shit about this the most, and I’ve been meaning to say it here, but have only said it in closed circles is: still… his “supporters” did NOTHING. They did nothing the first time and did nothing the second time, which leads me and ought to lead you too, to conclude they will continue to do absolutely nothing.
He is on his own as he’s always been and I could have called this all along, but chose not to; rather, I waited for it to unfold so I can make a much more salient point, blow by blow. As a matter of fact, I started writing an article about it then stopped. Have a look see:
This was two days ago, yet I stayed my hand and held my tongue just so I can bring my point home. But before I do, watch these videos I intended to share with you.
Yeah, the first video was after the GM was arrested. The second is what happened when he was actually arrested. They did NOTHING!
The first video is like knowing you’re going to get into a fight after school with some rowdy kids who want to beat you up, and your best friend says he’s got your back, then when the time comes after school to fight, he all of a sudden has to go use the bathroom. Then after you get your ass beat up, he comes along saying, “man I wish I was there! I would have laid them out.”
Another thing that boils my piss which is probably the most important thing that stems from and is directly connected to the first thing is, these people still haven’t gotten it, yet. They still haven’t gotten that when BLM and Antifa were rioting and burning shit to the ground, the police were nowhere to be found. They were to told to stand down!
Now, when the GM of a restaurant wants to stay open because he wants to feed his family, keep his business afloat and allow people to socialize (albeit within the parameters of social distancing) because they’re sick of these nonsensical lockdowns, the cops are all ready and sweaty — coming in all heavy-handed — to arrest and make an example of him. Because they were given mandates, see. Nothing in the law books, mind you, but they were told to do this. Robotic, low IQ lemmings who follow the dictates of someone they deem to have a higher power over them. Probably someone who cuts their checks and all they can think about, these morons, is “muh pension”.
They haven’t processed the covidocracy involved.
Look, folks, there will be no pensions or benefits for these cerebral insufficients the way things are unfolding. They are just too stupid or blind to see it.
Had they, they would have stood down – these cops – and had they – his “supporters” – they would all be going away in the paddy wagon with him, the first time.
Had the people any real intentions of fighting for their rights, those cops would be in Lenox Hill, between Park Ave. and Lexington on 77th Street.
Because no admission to triage care would be alotted them in Shaolin.
There would have been “No Quarter”.
